Volunteer Opportunities

It takes over 600 volunteers to ensure the successful operation of the Italian Festival.

Great things happen when we work together for the common good.  Our heartfelt thanks to you for volunteering!

 

Volunteers can commit their time through www.signup.com, a third-party website used by the Italian Festival.

Through the website links provided below, volunteers may choose the area

for which they would like to volunteer during the Festival, as well as the date and time slot.

After signing up online, volunteers will receive confirmation of their assignments and updates, if necessary, via email.

Volunteer Sign-Ups: Sausage & Meatball Making

All hands on deck! We are looking for volunteers to help us prepare meatballs and sausage for the Festival.  We estimate prepping almost 1100 pounds each of meatballs and sausage. That’s a lot of meat!  Please use the following link to sign up for volunteer spots that are available for the sausage and meatball-making that will take place in April 2017.

Volunteer Sign-Ups: After Masses

Volunteers may also set up their volunteer times on Sign-Up Sheets that will be provided after all masses

during the weekends of April 8th - 9th,  April 22nd - 23rd, and  April 29th - 30th (if needed).

Please be aware that volunteers are not only needed for the days of the Festival, but for many other times leading up to the Festival.

 

Volunteer Sign-Ups: Cannoli Run

Volunteers are needed to contribute assistance before, during and after the 5th Annual Cannoli Run that will be held on Saturday, May 20th at 9:00 am.  Sign-ups may be completed through the website noted above or after masses during the weekends of April 8th - 9th,  April 22nd - 23rd, and April 29th - 30th (if needed).

Baked Ziti & Lasagna Preparation and Delivery

Parishioners are asked to sign up after masses during the weekends of April 8th - 9th,  April 22nd - 23rd, and April 29th - 30th (if needed) to set a time for which they will provide prepared dishes of Baked Ziti and Lasagna that will be sold during the Italian Festival.  Foil pans and recipes will be provided during the sign-up periods. Dishes are to be made at home and brought to the church during the individual’s selected time.  Participants are asked to drop off the prepared dishes in Room #2 of the Parish Center, which is located behind the church next to the children’s playground.

Cookie Preparation and Delivery

Volunteers are needed to make cookies that will be sold during the Italian Festival.  Parishioners are asked to sign up after masses during the weekends of April 8th - 9th,  April 22nd - 23rd, and April 29th - 30th (if needed).   Cookie recipes, packaging, and drop off instructions will be provided during the sign-up periods.  Cookies may be dropped off at the Parish Center prior to the festival.
